Supervises and coordinates the activities and staff of storeroom operations including verifying, receiving, storing, issuing and distributing materials, equipment and supplies throughout the facility.
Supervises, hires, trains, disciplines and evaluates the performance of staff. Ensures performance appraisals are completed in a timely manner.
Prioritizes, schedules, assigns and monitors work to optimize operational service.
Analyzes, recommends, implements and monitors approved work-flow changes.
Ensures related records are maintained including the Material Management Information System (MMIS).
Coordinates physical inventories and ensures par levels are maintained.
Performs purchasing task related duties as needed.
Participates in developing and delivering training related to operations.
Performs related duties, as required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Appropriate New York State Driver's License may be required based on assigned facility and/or vehicles used.
• Minimum of three (3) years related experience including leadership responsibilities, required.
• Working knowledge of principles/practices related to Business Math, Inventory/Material Control, Logistics, Safety and Material Handling Equipment.
